You are welcome to the Yahoo Group of the Yorubas of Atlanta. The primary mission of the YORUBAS OF ATLANTA is to foster friendship, cultural awareness and economic cooperation among the members and the society in general.

All Yorubas in Atlanta are encouraged to apply for membership and join the association. Do not be strangers in your own house. The association is open to all Yorubas.

Who we are

The group will support and promote the involvement of its members in civic and charitable endeavors through mutual cooperation, joint planning and organized execution; To provide support and guidance for individualized growth will lead to the advancement of the various communities of its membership. The purposes of which the YORUBAS OF ATLANTA is organized are exclusively cultural, charitable and educational within the context of section 501(c)(3) of the internal revenue code of 1986 or the corresponding provision of any future United States Revenue Law.

What we do

This association has brought a lot of people, who otherwise would not have met together. This is our home for now, and we must take advantage of all the resources around us; not only for us but for our children. We must teach them the importance of our cultures and values. We must ensure continuity of our rich heritage even in a foreign land.
